Sea Naturally - Original Beach Decor Art
Thank you for your interest in who we are.
Beth
I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC and currently live in Mocksville, NC which is about a 30 minute drive to Winston. I work full time at Sara Lee Underwear working 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week. I've been there for 25 years now. In the past 5 years I have developed a keen interest in working with crafts, painting and interior design. This is all my husbands fault. 5 years ago we where snowed in and for something to do we dug out my grandmothers paint kit and tried our hand at painting.
Of course I wanted to do better than him and was moderately successful. We had such a good time, boiling herbs on the kitchen stove to make the kitchen smell good while we worked and watched it snow.
Well, to make a long story short we where hooked. Since then we have attended numerous classes and have developed our art and craft into a unique style of beach decor.
Our second passion in life is walking the beaches of NC's Outer Banks and picking up driftwood, seashells and anything else useful the sea leaves behind. We have walked for miles carrying armloads of "stuff" but it was in good fun. My husband makes and excellent pack mule. So please, review our catalog and if you see something you like get it while it's still available.
Dan
I was born and raised in Vineland, NJ which is about halfway between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. When I was 20 I joined the Navy and spent 20 years roaming the seas and retired in 1994. I worked pest control for 7 years and then retired again to help take care of Beth's sister during the week while everyone else worked.
Beth dragged me into the kitchen one miserable winter's day and to "humor" her I tried my hand at painting a ceramic piece. It was downright awful and I was determined to do better. Beth's piece was a little better but honestly, we hid those pieces for a few years.
Beth also dragged me to the beach and made me walk for hours carrying junk she picked up. She was polite in calling me a pack mule. It's more like an ass than a mule.
Well because of her I was hooked on crafting and painting. She is more of the painter and I do better at crafting. View our catalog and you will see each of our work.
Take heed though, our items go quickly and can't be reproduced.
